Protocol Management
The Eceptionist platform supports protocol management. With Eceptionist’s Survey tools,
organizations can define the different types of information that are required to collect
during a given healthcare process. These tools make it easy for organizations to define
when the information needs to be collected, the type of information that needs to be
collected, the format for collecting the information and whether or not certain pieces
of a dataset are required in order to move to the next step in the healthcare process.
These protocols can be customized per specialty, facility, doctor and many other parameters.
An example of a protocol includes a scheduling (referring) protocol for a cardiology
consult that is being scheduled within a given hospital. If there is certain information
that a given cardiologist requires in order for an appointment to be scheduled, a protocol
can be set up to ensure this information is captured before the appointment is scheduled.
