Care Pathway Management
The Eceptionist platform supports care pathway management. With the Eceptionist
platform, organizations can seamlessly manage the healthcare process as it begins
in the community, moves into acute and specialty facilities and then moves back
into the community. Organizations can define rules (i.e. “care pathways”) and put
structure around the healthcare services that are provided between hospitals, clinics
and the community.
Eceptionist’s tools make it easy to define different pathways for services that are
provided across a given healthcare network regardless of the number of different events
that are required for a particular “pathway” and/or regardless of the number of healthcare
facilities and doctors/nurses that are involved in providing care for that particular pathway.
These pathways ensure that care is consistently provided across a network and that the patients
are managed efficiently as they move through the “pathways of care” that are provided by the
network. Consistent and efficient patient journeys result in big savings of time and money.
